along time now you have been able to search the entire website
for things that you want to find quickly. Now with this
brand new search engine added to the News Section - you
can search just the News Archives only to find what you
are really looking for.
Search Tips:
- Do not search for the words 'Gary
Barlow' - you will almost certainly bring up everything
in the index!
- Try to think of words that will
help in the search of what you are looking for. For example,
if you want to search for news on the release of' Love
Won't Wait'. Enter something like 'Love Won't Wait New
Single'
- If you want to look at news for just one single month
enter 'March 1987' in the search field.

The news you find in the archives
dates back to 1996 - when this site was known as GBAP The
Gary Barlow Appreciation Pages:-
- 'GBAP' - Gary Barlow Appreciation
Pages - the first orginal website designed by Julia in
1996 (today's GB FANS webmaster), it later merged with
the GBDL to form......
- 'GBWS' - Gary Barlow Website in
1998
- 'GBDL' - Gary Barlow Discussion
List - 1997
This discussion list was run and designed by Kelly and
Tim Howe. They joined forces with the Gary Barlow Appreciation
Pages (later to become GBWS) and ran their sites simultaneously.
- 'GB FANS' (1998 onwards) - a site
run for fans orginally just dedicated to organising events.
It then merged with the GBWS to form....
- 'GB FANS - The Gary Barlow Website'
- today's site as we know it.
