20 September 97: Take That Reunion Continued
The Sun Reports:

Take That Reunion Wrecked By Mark
Mark Owen has dashed plans for a Take That reunion in aid of Princess Diana's Memorial Fund. The singer has pulled out despite backing the idea when it was announced last week. Without Mark there will be no reunion. Gary Barlow has made it clear if that it will only take place if all five members agree. It was hoped, Mark, Gary, Robbie, Howard and Jason would sing three hits to round off a Concert Of Hope.
Gary and Robbie have both committed themselves to the gig. They agreed to drop Take That's complicated dance routines because of lack of rehearsal time. But Mark, 23, told me yesterday it would still be impossible for Take That to reunite for the December show, saying "We wouldn't be good enough."
Mark who would be happy to perform a solo set - says: "It took Take That two months to rehearse our shows when we were together and there's no way we could be ready for this concert. We would be blown away by the other bands. There's professional pride involved here."
When I asked how much time he would need to prepare for just three songs without dance routines, Mark replied: "Too long."

19 September 97: Gary / Arista Honour GBDL!
Arista and Gary have chosen our partner site GBDL to appear on Gary's "teaser cards" in the United States! These cards are what Gary will autograph at his personal appearances. To view the card proceed to Solo Gallery 4. Congratulations to GBDL and its many members!
19 September 97: Take That Reunion Continued
From a report on Channel 4's teletext it appears that Mark and Robbie have pulled out of the Take That reunion. It states that they were only interested in appearing as solo artists.
However, apparently Gary is still organising events for a Concert Of Hope on 7th December.
16 September 97: Open Road in America
The release date for the album in America has now been moved to 28th October - apparently due to the success of So Help Me Girl!
16 September 97: Take That Reunion Continued
More news: The actual concert on the 7th December is not the Concert of Hope, but will actually be a TAKE THAT concert! Tickets as I said will be on sale very shortly.
15 September 97: Take That Reunion Continued
A date for the Concert Of Hope has now been set and confirmed as 7th December. Tickets are due on sale this week apparently. Gary appeared on GMTV in the UK this morning confirming that all 5 lads will be getting together for the show and that show only.
14 September 97: Take That Reunion Continued
This report is from the Daily Record:

Take That Re-Form For Di MEGASTAR boy band Take That WILL re-form for a one-off concert tribute to Princess Diana. Even Robbie Williams - who left the group under a cloud two years ago - has agreed to join his old mates on stage. And millionaire Gary Barlow has vowed to bury the hatchet with Robbie for the fund-raising gig on World Aids Day in December.
Gary, 26, said: "I rang Mark Owen and Jason Orange first and they said yes straight away. Tracking down Robbie Williams proved a little harder but I managed to get him at home in the end. "He didn't hesitate. Robbie said he would be delighted to join the rest of us on stage as long as the fans wanted it to happen. Howard Donald was away yesterday and I have left messages for him," Gary added. "I'm told he will definitely do the gig.
"We always said we would reform one day - but now we have a reason to do it."
Gary was last night preparing to return to America where he has been working as a successful solo star. But he pledged to contact pop pals like Peter Andre and Eternal and invite them to perform too. The singer said he only wants to stage one show, at a big venue like the 9000-seater Wembley Arena. Although many fans won't get tickets, they will be able to buy an album and video of the show with profits going to Aids charities.
Take That met Di in 1994. Gary said: "She was patron of the National Aids Trust. It seems right for the money to go to Aids charities."

14 September 97: Roxy, NYC
Gary is to perform at Seventeen's New Star Showcase, a benefit for The CityKids Foundation, Friday October 24th 1997, 7.00 to 10.45pm at Roxy, 515 West 18th Street, NYC.
Advance ticket purchases are $10. All tickets purchased at the door the night of the event are $12. To find out how to purchase tickets in advance call (212) 407-9808. Space is limited so call soon.
14 September 97: Gary's New Fan Club
Jan and Helen Berrington were kind enough to inform us of Gary's new fanclub address. Apparently the GBIS was recently featured on the UK tv show Really Useful Show and Gary was concerned over the matter enough to ring in and explain the fanclub situation himself. As Jan explains:
"once he has received the names and addresses list from GBIS he would be contacting all those members, giving them free membership to the new fan club, along with a special tape for fans in which he apologies for what has been going on."

The address for the new fanclub can be found on the Fanclub page.

14 September 97: Gary/Take That
We're getting increasingly alarmed at the amount of people assuming that Take That will definitely get together in December. Please be warned as before, this is NOT confirmed. Gary has urged the others to get back together and will only do it if Robbie agrees. So please don't rush around panicking and trying to get hold of tickets, or booking flights until it is confirmed.
We will of course bring you up-to-date news when available.
12 September 97: Take That Reunion (continued)
The Sun reports:

Singer Gary Barlow wants to reform Take That for a one-off tribute to Princess Diana. He is urging former co-star Robbie Williams to end their feud and take part in a concert for Di's Memorial Fund. Boyzone, Eternal and Peter Andre have already said they are keen to appear at the proposed Wembley Arena gig in December.
Gary, 26 said: "Older artists like George Michael and Elton John will organise a big stadium show. It would be fantastic for Britain's young groups to make their own tribute. Diana was a wonderful woman. Take That played at Di's Concert of Hope in 1994 to raise cash for AIDS causes. Robbie went solo six months later and the band finally split last year.
A war of words erupted and Robbie wrote a song 'Ego A Go Go' as an attack on Gary. Gary, who wants the new gig to be a memorial Concert of Hope said: "Hopefully we can bury our differences and make a real night to remember."

Please remember that this is still being negotiated and Gary has quoted he will ONLY get back together for this concert if Robbie is willing to do so as well. He has already had talks with the other lads who I believe are all in agreeance.

12 September 97: Take That In Concert!!
It has just been announced on Radio One, that TAKE THAT will get together for one last show to honour Princess Diana in a charity show this December. No more details are known as yet but we will of course bring you more news regarding this as soon as possible!
