 We
can now offer you some Gary Windows 95/98 wallpaper. They are currently
sized at 640x480 or 800x600. If you have a picture that you would
like to be changed into wallpaper then send it over to
webmaster and she will do her best for you, please ensure the
picture is of a decent size (over 400 pixels width). The wallpaper
will then be added to this gallery.
Installation
Instructions
-
Download the below ZIP
file of your choice by clicking in the name or picture with
the right hand button of your mouse then select 'save link as',
choose a directory to save it in.

Remember where you saved
it!

Once downloaded locate
Zip file in the directory you saved it in from Windows Explorer.

Extract the zip file
using 'Winzip' (see below for further details), to c:\windows
-
From the START menu
select 'Settings', then 'Control Panel', then 'Display'.

Select background tab.
-
Scroll down the list
of wallpapers on the right hand side until you get to the files
you extracted (names gazwall1, gazwall2, gazwall3, gazwall4
and gazwall5.

Ensure the radio buttons
below 'Center' is selected NOT 'Tile'.

Highlight one of the
files and the picture will appear in the small moniter above
the list.

If you downloaded all
files, preview all the Gazwall files until you find one you
like then press "APPLY". Don't touch anything else! Exit out
of control panel, etc.

That's it!!

In order to
'unzip' the above files you will need to get a copy of Winzip.
It's an evaluation copy but you don't have to register it
if you don't want to. |
