 First Ever GB FANS Lakesiders Event

The joint Cumbrian co-ordinator,
Sarah from Ulverston, and Ruth from Liverpool arrived in Carlisle
at lunch time. They were treated to good ole Carlisle fish
and chips where the chit chop chatter started all about Gary and
looking at each other photos! We had all met before and we
were all penpals so it was great.
Next stop was shopping around
Carlisle for the day, but we were soon lead towards a supermarket,
for.....alcohol! Well, after all it was Saturday night! We
then headed off to book Sarah and Ruth into their accomodation.
We then went to my house
because the girls wanted to see my room! Here we looked at
each others photographs for about 2 hours with Mr Gary Barlow playing
in the background and we then watched the Gary Barlow video of me
at Rainbow Fernstone. We started drinking at 3pm, as we knew
we had a long night ahead of us.
Our next stop was back to their
accomodation where we got ready for the town. At 5.30 pm we met
up with Linsey for a gorgeous meal, with Mr Barlow in the background.
We met up with everyone else
(Clare, Emma, Nicola and two boyfriends dragged in tow) at
7.15 pm Then first up it was Yates, then The Griffen,
then Woodrow Wilson's, then ma' local student union cos Sarah
wanted a cheap pint! Here me and Sarah were responsible for
pouring around Gary and any other Take That members out of the juke
boss and dancing around because by this time, we were a bit tipsy!
We ended up in Buskers
at about 10.00 pm where we danced and drank the night away. The
DJ even said hello to all the GB Fans!
Soon it was 2.00 am,
we headed off to the pizza shop (again!), then back
to Sarahs and Ruths accomodation to go to sleep.....no......we had.....more
alochol up until 5am when I thought I better go home!
The next day we visited the
Carlisle Carnival that had bands playing, fun fair rides, etc but
again we ended up in a beer tent! So all in all we had a fantastic
two days of talking about Gary Barlow and consuming alcohol to its
best extreme!
We'll be arranging another
event soon - so are you ready for GB FANS LAKESIDERS event 2?...cos
we are!!!!

Road" at 3.00 am!
