I had already been to Wembley concert a
couple of days before and really enjoyed it! I didn't think any
concert could be better than the one in Wembley! But it was even
better! I guess it is because I met Gary before the concert and
because my seat was at the front!
It was Tuesday 21 December and I will never
forget that day! I was so excited all day! I went there with my
daughter and we left very early to go and do some shopping and to
be there well in time ! We went to the pizza hut after our shopping
but it was hard to eat anything as I was getting rather nervous
by that time.
Meeting Gary was so special! I won't forget
it in a hurry as he was so lovely, natural, friendly and funny;
and yes gorgeous too! He said the only french word he knew : "aujourd'hui"
and I was thinking "I wish today never ends"
I guess everyone know about me teasing Gary
about his strippey t-shirt ! He took it like a star and said: "I
will wear it just for you!" I was so happy after the meeting and
was really looking forward to the concert ! While waiting for Gary
to come on stage I just couldn't stop talking to people I had never
met about my meeting with him and many people too were so willing
to sign the petition forms.
Then he came on stage! wow! singing "with
your arms around me" (I had been in his arms a few minutes before:))
He looked gorgeous despite the strippey t-shirt that he wore as
he said he would!!
The audience was really noisy and responsive.
Gary sang brilliantly as always. When he noticed me in the audience
(I was near the stage in the aisle..good seat) he asked if people
liked his t-shirt and everyone asked him to get it off!!!! but he
didn't saying:" I don't want to lose my audience straight away"
It was a fantastic night but it went far
too quickly ! I took lots of pictures and they are a precious memory
of this night that I will always remember!
